Conjugate 먹다 → 먹어요 and 가다 → 가요, and say one thing you do today.

Dictionary form ends in 다. Drop 다, then: last vowel ㅏ or ㅗ → -아요 (가다 → 가요, the ㅏ+아 contracts). Other vowels → -어요 (먹다 → 먹어요). 하다 is special: 해요. This is present polite. You do not need past tense yet.
