After a vowel or ㄹ, -ㄹ 거예요 (가요 stem 가 → 갈 거예요). After other consonants, -을 거예요 (먹다 → 먹을 거예요). This is a plan, not a wild guess. -(으)ㄹ까요? asks shall we?: 같이 갈까요? 약속 is an appointment or a meet-up. 언제 is when.
