Place + 에서 = from that place. Place + 까지 = as far as that place. 집에서 학교까지 = from home to school. Time takes 이/가 걸리다: 삼십 분이 걸려요. Use (으)로 for the means: 지하철로 가요 (I go by subway). 버스로, 택시로 work the same way.
